"Congratulations
on your spectacular improvements for what is already an awesome electric
vehicle - the e-ATV 36. For the last 6 years I have been immensely
satisfied with the performance and durability of your machine. It is
ideal for the rough terrain perimeter patrol at our farm.

CALIFORNIA - in use since 2001
"First, let me just say, how VERY MUCH I have enjoyed having my Gorilla
Vehicle!!!
I ordered it on February 20th, 2001, going on 7 YEARS now!!! I have
used my Gorilla EVERY DAY!!!
My Gorilla carries hay, lots of rocks, tree limbs, branches, mulch, POOP,
etc...and, all of this is spread out over 8 acres with the most severe slope
approching 28%!!
It has n-e-v-e-r failed me. Not once.
WOULD YOU BELIEVE THAT ALL THIS IS WITH THE ORIGINAL BATTERIES!!!!!! 7
y-e-a-r-s old!!! I not only have no complaints, I have nothing but
praise and congratulations for you in this wonderful effort."

"WOWSER ! The eagle has
landed...and what a beauty it is!!
You've outdone yourself, Rick.
My new-and-improved, 2008 Gorilla is everything you said it would
be...and then some.
L-O-V-E the "stealth" look and especially the camo seats.
The driver from ATECH was great and was willing to bring it all the
way up my hill to the property. And, again...by myself...I unwrapped
it as instructed, drove it right off the pallet, and off I went.
Thanks for making this a pleasant and easy transaction for me. I
appreciate it.
Your TWO-Gorilla family fan.

"I'm involved in competition
shooting and range/match management. As a competitor we need to carry a
number of firearms, ammunition, lunch, parts, tools and misc. equipment with
us. . . . . . . and decided the
Gorilla was the answer. . .
I remain very impressed by the
rig, except for one major short-coming. The front rack won't hold my 32 can
beer chest!!"

"Here are some pics you can use. The Gorilla was one of the best
investments I've made. I can use it in RV campgrounds because it's
electric and since I have it licensed as a handicapped vehicle, I can
take it anywhere. It's a great machine, very well made and fun for
both of us."

"I love my gorilla. We have had ours now for
about 5 years with no problems. I don't like the gas powered, loud, heavy
4 wheelers (ATV). I like the quiet, no gear shifting gorilla. I use it
almost every day. And when the grandkids are down they love riding it."

It was an exciting day and everyone
wanted to get a look at it... no one has seen an electric atv before."

"The Gorilla is working
fine and is living up to all my expectations.
It handles the back 40 OK, which is a little steep in spots.
The picture I have attached is of my garage, showing that there is plenty
of room for the Gorilla, in spite of all the junk I have in there.
That was a major selling point; its footprint."
"Here is the picture of the Gorilla with a person on it which I
promised. I tried to get the blonde next door to sit on it but she
declined. The old goat posing on it is me."

ALABAMA - in use since 2005
"I'm glad I chose the Gorilla. It is
reliable, fun to drive, and has the torque to pull just about anything,
and do it smoothly. No longer do I have to let my truck warm up before I
make a foray into the woods, or worry about adding gasoline, oil, water,
anti-freeze, or dealing with transmission issues, or having a tune up,
adding power-steering fluid, washing the windshield, changing the air
filter, oil filter, replacing the alternator, or having a broken timing
belt etc.
"Even more important(!), while I haven't
had any problems with the Gorilla, I get the feeling that if I ever do,
Rick and company will be very helpful and supportive. But since electric
motors are so reliable, it is hard to imagine anything going wrong,
unless, of course, I drive it into a lake or over a cliff (not very
likely)."

SOLAR
Charging

"Lastly, even with my small solar system,
as long as it is a fairly sunny day, I can charge my Gorilla without
resorting to the grid. I only resort to the grid maybe 5 percent (1/20th)
of the time for charging it. When I eventually add another, larger solar
system with more batteries, this 'greener' alternative will become even
more green." "longhair

NEW JERSEY -
in use since 2005
"Rick: The Gorilla
is fantastic. Better than I hoped for. However it
does not belong on grass, blacktop or concrete. It belongs in the woods.
The backyard hill down to the woods is nothing for it, even with a
passenger. It took worse ditches and hills back in the woods, though I
unloaded passengers for this. Yea, we had 3 of us on it for the easy
trails. About 500 lbs. We cleared about 3 or so miles of unused narrow
trails of deadfall but more clearing to go. It is/was a County owned Nature
Trail area but unused for about 15 years. We brought a 18 volt battery
sawzall and cut the big deadfall. Even with 3 of us on it a lot of time it
was only down 2 battery indicator lights when done. If you look close at
the pic you will see where it just came out of the drywash about 2 or so
feet deep and about 6 feet wide. I took no passengers for this. On it is
my son and a friend as I took the pic. All of us are old ex dirt bike
riders. Same as the rest of my family. Possibly I may drop tire pressure a
lb. but so far I see no need.
Congratulations for making such a sturdy critter.
Anyone in NJ area can contact me for a look-see and info if you wish."

CALIFORNIA -
in use since 2005
"The Gorilla
continues to exceed my expectations in every way. It works wonderfully on
our miles of fire roads in the redwoods. I love going slowly, at stealth
sound levels, and surprising our myriad of wildlife. Our deer allow me to
approach very closely without fear. Squirrels seemed stunned something so
big could just be there. I find myself running out to our hidden meadows
several times a day. These trips take an hour and a half on foot over steep
fire roads. On the Gorilla, I can make it in 15 minutes and enjoy the trip.
Interestingly, it easily goes up hills I would not want to go down.
One strange thing, the batteries seem to be gaining in range."

CONNECTICUT - in use since 2003 Donna's detours
in Connecticut.
Donna told us that when she rode horses,
she'd see
lots of wildlife,
and the mountain lions were scared-off by the horses
(or vice versa!!!).
She moved-on to gasser ATVs and never saw any wildlife.
Now, on her Gorilla, she sees plenty of wildlife;
including curious mountain lions.
email received May 31, 2007:
"This is my 3rd or 4th year with my machine, don't remember which (CRS).
Still LOVE it, never a problem, use it for everything. THANX!

PS. There's a cougar living in our valley. Causes no trouble.

"Hi Rick,
You were right.... I love the Gorilla!
I can't wait to get home from work and ride around with my tools on
board and go to work on my trails etc. It has become indispensable to
me and everything I dreamed of. I have no complaints and hope it
remains injury free for many years.
Thanks Rick for
manufacturing a vehicle that virtually serves all my needs. If you're
ever in the area, come for a visit and I'll drive you around. I don't
know what I love more-- the quiet, eco-sensitive electric conveyance
that everyone enjoys driving on or it's practical value as a luxury
garden tool."

Gorilla used by electric utility company for maintenance inside of an 8-mile
long tunnel.
The only four-wheeled electric vehicle they could find that can do a U-Turn
inside of an eight-foot wide tunnel.

UPDATE:
Returned to the Gorilla factory in November 2006 for a "check-up"
before going to another construction site.
"Not a single failure on the Gorilla during its almost two years on the
construction site.
It spent over six months underground, in six inches
of water, being used every day."

ILLINOIS - bought their first Gorilla in 2002
Even though we can't get a
testimonial or pictures from them because of policy, here are some
paraphrased quotes we've heard from several locations:
'. . after 3 years of use, the
Gorillas are holding up much better than the Cushmans that they
replaced . .'
'. . the Gorillas are much safer and
more powerful than the old steel-bodied, 3-wheeled utility carts . .'

had that vehicle for over ten years and haven't had a bit of trouble from it
except for replacing the batteries last year" |
